Hemorrhoids Treatments and Natural Herbs
76What are Hemorrhoids
Hemorrhoids are masses or clumps "cushions" of tissue in the anal canal that contain blood vessels and the surrounding, supporting tissue made up of muscle and elastic fibers.
Although most people think hemorrhoids are abnormal, they are present in everyone. It is only when the hemorrhoidal cushions enlarge that hemorrhoids can cause problems and be considered abnormal or a disease.
Causes of Hemorrhoids
Most theories include lack of fiber, prolonged sitting on the toilet, and chronic straining to have a bowel movement (constipation).
Pregnancy is a strong belief that cause hemorrhoids due the pressue of the fetus, still the reason is not clear, at least by medical experts.
Tumors in the pelvis also cause enlargement of hemorrhoids by pressing on veins draining upwards from the anal canal.
One theory proposes that it is the shearing force of stool, particularly hard stool, passing through the anal canal that drags the hemorrhoidal cushions downward. Another theory suggests that with age, the supporting tissue that is responsible for anchoring the hemorrhoids to the underlying muscle of the anal canal deteriorates. With time, the hemorrhoidal tissue loses its mooring and slides down into the anal canal.

Internal hemorrhoids occurs inside the rectum. They are varicosities of veins draining the territory of branches of the superior rectal arteries. Since this aerea lack pain receptors most people don´t feel pain and are not aware they have them, however internal hemorrhoids may bleed when irritated.
Untreated internal hemorrhoids can lead to two severe forms of hemorrhoids: prolapsed and strangulated hemorrhoids.
External hemorrhoids occur inside the anal verge. Sometimes they are painful, and often accompanied by swelling and irritation. Itching. Most of the times the symptom of external hemorrhoids, is more commonly due to skin irritation.
External hemorrhoids can lead to thrombosis and if the vein rupture can become a thrombosed hemorrhoid. External hemorrhoids are the more painful.

Why Natural Herbs?
The civilizations of the orient like China and Japan, have a long history of herbal medicines still in practice in this days.
For centuries, herbal medicine was and still is used. Today, thanks to the evolution of research and science, more products were developed and chemical drugs are manufactured. It´s no doubt that the pharmaceutical industry came to a point where they don´t even want to hear about natural medicine. Most doctors, at least in industrial countries, laugh or trow a "cinical" smile at a patient when he ask his opinion about natural herbs, or mixtures using natural ingredients. There is a lot of money invested in big companies. Personaly I had this exact experience a couple times when visiting my doctor. Modern drugs are part of modern life. Still today, there are more and more people turning to the natural treatments since they dont have what most manufactured drugs have: side effects.
Conclusion
Everyone can try a Natural treatment. Most of the times it can become much less expensive then buying normal drugs. Many products can even been aplied to children. Of course, like in everything health related, don´t decide for yourself what to take or how much to take. There are very quality products in the market all with natural ingredients made for, in this case, hemorrhoids, but also that helps in many other factors.
In my website, I talk a bit more about hemorrhoids, treatments, general advices and products that helped me and many other persons in my family to combat this painful condition.
Has always consult your doctor before starting any medication, but even so, if your condition is not that bad, you can check the information of a particular product and help you.
